An automatic roof hatch is a compact, practical, and easy-to-install solution that solves the problem of hot air accumulating at the top of a greenhouse.
To ensure proper ventilation in your greenhouse, it only takes a few minutes to install the roof hatch. This ensures your plants receive the full flow of cool air.
The automatic roof hatch is thermally actuated. When the temperature in the greenhouse rises above 20°C, the fluid in the hatch expands and pushes a rod, which lifts the hatch cover, closing the opening. As soon as the hatch opens, intensive air circulation begins, replacing excess heat with fresh air.
The hatch opens to its maximum at 26°C. When the temperature drops to 20°C or below, the fluid in the actuator contracts, reversing the action.

IMPORTANT: You can convert the automatic hatch to a manual ventilation hatch at any time. To do this, remove the piston and insert the included handle in its place.
During the winter, the thermal actuator must be removed and stored in a warm room. Lubricate all moving parts with machine oil. It is strictly prohibited to use the thermal actuator for other purposes, disassemble it, heat or cool it at home, immerse it in hot or cold water, freeze it in the refrigerator or on the balcony, heat it over a gas stove, a radiator, etc. We recommend installing one ventilation valve for greenhouses every 2-3 meters.
