Ventilating and sealing tapes are used to seal the edges of the polycarbonate. Ventilating tapes are used for the lower edges of the sheets. The perforation of the tape allows condensation that may form in the polycarbonate cell to drain, while preventing dust or insects from entering it. Sealing tapes are used on the upper edges of the sheets to prevent water and dirt from entering the polycarbonate cells. The universal tapes have a special perforation and are suitable for sealing both the upper and lower edges.
